We were best of friends throughout Elementary School and no one could separate us. Playing with American Dolls, pretending to be star gymnasts walking the balance beam (a.k.a... the curb), going out in the backyard and playing Pocahontas, running through the sprinklers...you get the idea. The list goes on and on. We both went to Kaysville Elementary until 3rd grade and then it happened.....they finally separated us. The boundaries changed and Hil got switched to Columbia Elementary. Sad sad day.
We still tried to keep up our routine, but eventually we grew apart, "drifted" out of it, and went our separate ways with the new friends made along the way. We still talk to each other if and when we see one another, but it never has been what it was then. She will always hold the standards high for my best friends, and I hope my kids have as much fun and imagination as we once did.
Cheers to good memories and good friends :)

Hey Tori!!! Somehow I came across your blog! This post made me smile and reminisce our BFF days! We had so much fun! I loved playing with our American Dolls (how’s Samantha btw? :), pretending to work at your dad’s RV business (yes, our RV’s come in white, gold and silver…) and reenacting scenes from Pocahontas in your living room! Good times! I hope you’re doing well! And thanks for the memories!
