The Heart of the Matter

This is such a random post! But have you ever found a song that you just love and connect to immediately? I found one last night and I had to share it! It's the first song on my playlist called "The heart of the matter" by Indie Arie. I love it for so many reasons... I appreciate the songs that have truth in the lyrics and that make you think. I can relate to this song, but I think the main reason I love it is because it's so deep lyrically. I love when it says "The more I know, the less I understand" It's so true in so many circumstances .... Anyways, listen to it if you have a second! I love the chorus:

..."I've been learning to live without you now

But I miss you sometimes....

The more I know, the less I understand

All the things I thought I figured out, I have to learn again

I've been trying to get down to the heart of the matter

But my will gets weak and my heart is so shattered

But I think it's about forgiveness, forgiveness,

even if you don't love me anymore"....

Such a good song! Thanks, Brad! I owe ya!

I love the lyrics too! If this has something to do with a boy in your life-you already know I think he was stupid to let you go so easily! Love lasts through thick and thin otherwise I'm not so sure if it is the kinda love your looking for. Whoever gets you better deserve you and appreciate you to the fullest! I love you! "the more I know the less I understand" funny how that works.
