I Heart Ecuador

I do have somewhat of an excuse as to why my blog has been abandoned for the past month! I was lucky enough to spend a short time over in Ecuador serving in the orphanages down there. It's something I've wanted to do for a while, but was never able to take the time off work. So when my friend Brynn called and told me she found a 2.5 week program, and asked if I would go with her, I jumped on board as fast as I could! I highly recommend the group that I went with, so if any of you are interested or think you're ready for an adventure, learn more about it here! It was truly some of the hardest work I've ever done or will ever do in my lifetime. But it was also the most rewarding. I wouldn't change the experience for anything, and I will never forget those kids who touched my life in such a large way, in such a short time. If I could, I would adopt every single one of them! All they need is a home and loving parents to show them how special they are. If any of you are thinking about adopting, DO IT! I can guarantee it will be a decision that will better your life! Even though I didn't spend much time in Ecuador, the time that I was able to be there will not be forgotten, and I will always be grateful for the experience. I love those kids with all my heart and I hope they all get to have a place that they can call home soon! I heart Ecuador! :)

Hi Tori! I saw your name on Alyson's blog and wanted to say hi! I haven't seen you in forever! She also told me that you were dating Payden...what a perfect couple! That is so neat that you were in Ecuador...what a great opportunity! Glad to see you are doing well! (P.S. You're making me look like a bad aunt with all the stuff you do with your nieces).

This is Jessie (Edgington) Molyneaux. I saw your name on someone's blog and clicked. Oh my goodness Tori. I have chills. 2 1/2 years ago I was in Cuenca, Ecuador with OSSO. I was lucky enough to go for 3 months. It was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced. I love those kids with my whole heart. Were you in Quito or Cuenca? Oh my goodness. I am so happy that you were able to go and have such a wonderful experience!

I'll have to post more pics for sure! And Annie, I know some girls have gone down without their spouses, but I don't know if they can go with their spouses... you'll have to check into it! :) I vote for a spouse program! Not that I would benefit any from that, haha.
