Birthday Boy!

Isn't he cute? Happy Birthday Daddio! You are finally as young as Mom :) You have always been the hip, fun, smart, and silly Dad on the block and you still are! (The picture is proof!) Age doesn't wither you one bit. You give everything you can to your wife and kids and hopefully one day we will be able to give it back to you in return. I love that you still love Disneyland and that you have more cologne then you can count! haha... You have been my coach, my fan, and my friend, but thank you for being my sweet Dad and for sharing all you have with me. You are one special man! I hope you enjoy the ridiculously expensive watch you got for your gift! :) You are worth it. Love you and Happy Birthday!

St. George Fun

So a few of my siblings and I decided to trek it down to St. George with my parents for New Year's weekend. It was probably one of the best times I have had down there! From the grueling game of phase 10 we played until the wee hours of the night to the delicious breakfasts' momma cooked up each morning, to just relaxing and being with eachother. It was so much fun and I wish everyone could have been there! But there's always next year :) Thanks Mom and Dad for spoiling us all so much! Here are some pictures from "The Fiesta Fun Center" we decided to go to one day and truly did have a fiesta! haha!

The cute little ladies all ready for their adventure

Brek wasn't quite big enough to ride on his own yet, but luckily Court was small enough to escort him around! :)

Probably the best picture from the trip! Tage got pretty bummed out when the girls passed him on one of the final laps haha! This was his pose of defeat for about five minutes, it was pretty cute!

Tage, Me, and Jaycee about to go on a little water boat ride. They were so excited, can't ya tell?

Scratchly, Snarly...

Well I never thought the day would come... I didn't know if I would ever make it back to school again! But I am happy to say that I am FINALLY back in classes and feeling great about it! I never thought I would be saying I was excited to go to school! :) Everyone told me that once you stop going it is so hard to get back, and boy were they right! So.. if you're in school right now, don't stop! I wish I wouldn't have taken a break, but what can ya do? Atleast I'm back now and I'm ready to kick things into gear and get back on the wagon. The best part of all is that I get to sing the school song again, which actually contains the words... "Scratchly, snarly.." in it and is complimented well with a hand motion you make while singing! haha! If only I were joking :) Oh well, go Wildcats! Happy Studying to everyone :)

Happy New Year!

I know my posts have been a bit behind, but this one is only a day late, so I'm getting better! It's hard to believe 2008 is over! I can honestly say that was the fastest year of my life so far! Where did it go?! My how time flies when you're having fun eh? As far as this year goes, I put together a little list of some treasures I discovered and a few things I learned during 2008 :) Drum Roll please.....
-The discovery of Thai food! (Thank you Tommy and Kelsey!) It is delish!
-The discovery of my new favorite jeans ever! (Big Star, LIVE brand)
-The rising of a cutie named David Archuleta! (I love him in a brotherly way, don't worry lol)
-I learned things don't always go the way you plan or expect them to (A given, I know)
-The discovery of the Twilight Series! :) Yeah you love them too, I know!
-I gained 2 new favorite movies; "Stardust" & "Horton Hears a Hoo!" :)
-In N' Out Burger opened in St. George! Hallelujah!
-The discovery of "Spoon Me!" It's SO yummy! (Thanks Mikey!)
-I discovered how much I loved President Hinckley and how excited I am to get to know President Monson better!
-I learned just how hilarious my parents are! Retirement is all I have to say :)
-I learned that I am going to be an Aunt to two more nieces\nephews! Woo!
So there you have it... just a brief list of randomness! Thank you 2008! Although 08' was a good year, I'm looking forward to a fresh new start with 2009, a brand new chapter in my life! Although it can be a little frightening having so much ahead of me and not knowing what to expect, I am excited for what lies ahead. The best is yet to be! Anything can happen and I'm looking forward to see what adventure comes next! I have a feeling it's going to be a very good year! :) Happy New Year to everyone!

The bells at Temple Square

This year I was so lucky to be able to participate in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert! Words can't describe how incredible it was! It was such a great experience for me and something that I will NEVER forget! It was such a powerful progam...their guests were Brian Stokes Mitchell and Edward Herrmann and I love them both! They both were so sweet and so humble! Brian Stokes is such an amazing singer...he blew me away!
Music is such a powerful thing anyway, but when you combine it with the spirit and the message of Christ's birth, you fall nothing short of phenomenal! I love Christmas time and the feeling that comes with it. There's always a sort of "glow"all around. I'm sure the snow, the christmas lights, the gift giving and the time spent with family and friends is definitely part of that glow. But I think the true reason for the special feeling is because of the emphasis on Christ and His birth, even if people refuse to admit it. It really is a magical time of year and for me, being in the Christmas concert made this year extra special. I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! :) Love you all!

A little bit of this and a little bit of that!

This post is dedicated to all of the little activities that have been going on that I've neglected in the blogging world! And since I don't want bore everyone with ten different posts, I'll combine them into one! :) So ... sorry if it's a bit random, but here it goes......

Of course Christmas wouldn't be complete without a visit to Temple Square. I swear it gets more stunning each year! I don't remember if they put Mary and Joseph on the reflecting pond last year, but that was one of my favorite things this year. I don't have a picture of it, but hopefully it will be there next year.

I'm pretty sure I sent out my own Christmas cards this year! haha... who says signles can't have Christmas Cards? It was very last minute, so this is for everyone I didn't get one sent to! :)

And two more birthdays! Dylan turned 7 and Jasmine turned 4! I can't believe how big they are all getting! Such cutie pies :) Happy Birthday you two! Love you both :)
